About Our Conference

The most important yearly event in diabetic neuropathy

Dear NEUROdiab Members, Friends and Colleagues,

we are thrilled to announce that the 34th Annual Meeting of NEUROdiab will be held in Rome, Italy, from 5-8 September 2024.

NEUROdiab is the most important multi-disciplinary scientific organization in the field of diabetic neuropathy and the annual meeting is the most prestigious international event on diabetic neuropathy.

Rome is the perfect location for our 2024 meeting. The coming year will be all about building on NEUROdiab’s history to project our organization into the future. And Rome holds a special place in the life of NEUROdiab. The city played an important role in the foundation of NEUROdiab, and with its region, it hosted annual meetings in 2000, 2008 and 2018. The 34th Annual Meeting will draw strength and inspiration from this lively memory. In ancient times, Rome was an open and multicultural city, where foreigners could become citizens and even emperors. We are sure that Rome will make all of you feel at home next year, thanks to its beauty, its unique heritage, and its hospitality.

The 2024 meeting has the ambition to look to the future and not only of our organization. It will address the knowledge, research, and care needs in our field. It will give wide space to the results of preclinical and clinical research. We will learn from leading scientists and give a platform to young researchers, also by awarding their achievements. Rome 2024 will be a place to meet, exchange, and give birth to new ideas.

We are working to guarantee a rich scientific program with original works, symposia, debates, and state of art lectures on epidemiology in a changing world, new technologies for translational research, new diagnostic strategies, therapeutic horizons for neuropathic pain, treatment of symptomatic autonomic neuropathy, and brain involvement.

But for the meeting to be successful, we will need your contribution and your energy. NEUROdiab has always been first and foremost a community. Together, we have managed to find innovative answers to long-standing questions. In it is this spirit that we look forward to welcoming all of you – old and new friends – in the magnificent setting of the eternal city.
